Blacktron-II

Many Blacktron agents were dismayed by their brothers' turn away from their righteous cause towards violence, kidnapping, extortion and other crimes. Desperate to find a moral way to survive, they formed a new version of Blacktron focused on providing security to commercial ships. Of course this new mission often brings Blacktron-II into direct conflict with the original Blacktron. Despite this, the boundary between the two Blacktron groups is somewhat porous and disreputable types can be found on both sides. Both forms of Blacktron often come to blows over who is closer to the original freedom-fighting vision.
